AGLC4 Rule 3.9.2: Orders and Rulings of Government Instrumentalities and Officers (ASIC Class Orders, Taxation Rulings, etc)
Orders and rulings of government bodies and officers that are neither delegated legislation nor published in a gazette are cited by issuer, instrument title, a bracket holding the document number and the date the instrument takes effect, then a pinpoint. An officer is named by title only, departments and officers carry their jurisdiction, and a document number appears only if the instrument shows one.

Format
Quoted from the Guide, page 79A boxed element is filled in with the source's details; everything outside a box is written exactly as shown.
Formatting
- The issuing instrumentality or officer comes first, roman, followed by a comma.
- An officer is identified by official title only, never by personal name.
- Where a department or an officer issued the instrument, the jurisdiction abbreviation from rule 3.1.3 follows the name in round brackets.
- The instrument title is italic.
- A round bracket follows the title after a space and holds the document number, a comma and the full date.
- The document number is given only if printed on the instrument, keeping its abbreviations but dropping full stops under rule 1.6.1.
- Without a document number the bracket holds the full date alone.
- The date is the one from which the instrument takes effect, written day, month in full, year.
- The pinpoint follows the closing bracket after a space; paragraph pinpoints are in square brackets.
