AGLC4 Rule 3.9.3: Legislation Delegated to Non-Government Entities (ASX Listing Rules, Professional Conduct Rules, etc)

Rules made by non-government bodies under delegated power, such as listing rules and professional conduct rules, follow the form for government orders and rulings as far as possible. Corporate designators and a leading the are removed from the body's name. Where there is no document number or the rules change often, the bracket instead gives at and the date of the version cited, or the date the cited provision took effect.

  • Pty, Ltd, Co, Inc and similar designators are removed from the body's name, as is an initial the.
  • The title is italic.
  • Where the rules have no document number or are updated often, the bracket contains at, a space and the full date of the version cited or of the cited provision's effect.
  • Where provisions took effect on different dates, the date of the provision cited is used.
  • The pinpoint follows the bracket after a space, using r and rr for rules.
