AGLC4 Rule 20.1.2: Cases: Unreported Cases

Unreported Malaysian decisions are cited under rule 2.3.2. Malaysian courts do not assign medium neutral citations, so none is used even if a database displays one.

Formatting

  • The case name is italic, followed by a round bracket containing Unreported, the court, the judges and the full date, separated by commas.
  • Plural judicial titles are abbreviated as in the decision, for example JJCA.
  • A paragraph pinpoint follows the closing bracket after a space, in square brackets.
