AGLC4 Rule 7.1.3: Royal Commission Reports

A royal commission report is cited without an author unless one is prominently identified, and no jurisdiction is added. Submissions to a royal commission are dealt with by rule 7.5.2.

Formatting

  • When no author is prominent the citation opens directly with the italic title; the commissioner is not named as author.
  • No jurisdiction abbreviation is added to the title or elsewhere.
  • The bracket holds the report type (for example Final Report, Interim Report, Report) and the date, which may be a month and year.
  • A volume pinpoint reads vol and the number, and a page, when given, follows after a comma and space.
  • The citation ends with a full stop.
