AGLC4 Rule 25.5.1: Delegated Legislation: Federal
Federal regulations are cited to the Code of Federal Regulations, with the regulation's title optional. A CFR part is designated §, and sections attach to the part number with a decimal point. The year is that of the CFR edition used. A regulation not in the CFR, or one for which there is good reason to cite the gazetted version, is cited to the Federal Register with a full date.
