AGLC4 Rule 22.2.1: Statutes and Subsidiary Legislation
Legislation with a chapter number is cited with Singapore, the chapter number and the revised edition year inside the jurisdiction bracket; the year is the latest revision for law in force, or the relevant revision for a historical reference. Legislation with no chapter number or revised edition, and historical legislation from before chapter numbering, is cited with its original year after the title under rule 3.1.2.

Formatting
- The title is italic; in the chapter form it carries no year.
- The round bracket contains Singapore, a comma, cap and the chapter number, a comma, then the year and rev ed.
- cap and rev ed are lower case with no full stops.
- In the original-year form, the title and year are both italic and are followed by (Singapore).
- The pinpoint follows the closing bracket after a space with no comma, using the abbreviations of rules 3.1.4 to 3.1.6 and 3.4.
