AGLC4 Rule 19.1: Hong Kong: Cases
Hong Kong cases follow chapter 2, but the names of individuals, both parties and judges, are generally given in full; given names may be left out when they are not needed to identify the person. Authorised series (HKLRD, HKCFAR and HKLR) should be cited where available, and Hong Kong Cases otherwise.

Formatting
- The case name is italic and gives individuals' names in full, in the order used in the report.
- A series organised by year takes a square-bracket year; a series organised by volume takes a round-bracket year.
- A comma separates the starting page from a pinpoint, and a paragraph pinpoint in square brackets follows the page pinpoint after a space.
- A judge follows in round brackets after the pinpoint.
- The court may be added at the end in round brackets where it is not apparent (rule 2.2.6).
- A medium neutral citation uses the court identifier, as in HKCA, after the square-bracket year.
