AGLC4 Rule 6.4: Books: Pinpoint References
Pinpoints follow rules 1.1.6 and 1.1.7 and come after the publication details with no comma, except that a comma separates a volume number from the pinpoint. Pinpoints are usually to pages, may add paragraphs, and use ch or pt instead of a page range when a whole chapter or part is meant.

Formatting
- The pinpoint follows the closing bracket of the publication details after a space, with no comma.
- When one volume of a multi-volume book is cited, a comma and a space separate the volume number from the pinpoint.
- Page spans follow rules 1.1.6 and 1.1.7.
- A paragraph pinpoint in square brackets may follow the page number after a space.
- A whole chapter or part is cited as ch or pt with its number, or chs or pts for several, instead of the page range.
