AGLC4 Rule 25.3.7: Legislation: Session Laws: Year

Give the year of enactment, or if unavailable the year of commencement, in round brackets after the starting page or pinpoint. Leave it out when the title already contains that year, or, for state laws, when the volume year has already been given.

Formatting

  • A space and the year in round brackets follow the last page reference, with no comma before the bracket.
  • No year bracket where the title contains the same year.
  • No year bracket where a state session laws volume is identified by its year.
