AGLC4 Rule 24.2.3: Regnal Year and Chapter

Statutes enacted before 1 January 1963 include the regnal year and chapter; later statutes do not. The regnal year counts the years of the monarch's reign at enactment and uses the monarch's abbreviated name and regnal number. A later session within one regnal year is marked with sess and its number, and the chapter follows abbreviated as c.
