AGLC4 Rule 2.2.7: Parallel Citations

Australian cases are never given parallel citations. Cite only the most authoritative version available under rule 2.2.2.

Formatting

  • Only one report or medium neutral citation is given for an Australian case.
  • Alternative reports are not strung together with semicolons.
  • Parallel citations are reserved for United Kingdom nominate reports and early United States Supreme Court decisions (rules 24.1.3 and 25.1.3).
