Unrevised federal regulations are cited to the Statutory Orders and Regulations by year and regulation number. Use only the last two digits of the year before 2000 and the full year from 2000.

Formatting
- The title is italic and followed by a roman comma.
- SOR is followed directly by a slash, the year, a hyphen and the regulation number, with no spaces anywhere in that string.
- The year is two digits for regulations before 2000 and four digits from 2000.
- A comma separates the regulation number from any pinpoint.
