AGLC4 Rule 1.5.5: [sic]
[sic] is inserted after a significant error in quoted material; minor errors are left alone without comment. It is not used to mark non Australian spelling or unusual capitalisation. It may follow discriminatory or offensive language in a quotation, although paraphrasing is preferred.
