AGLC4 Rule 1.10.2: Currency

Currency amounts are numerals, preceded directly either by the currency symbol or by the currency code without a symbol.

Formatting

  • Symbol or currency code directly before the numeral, with no space.
  • Use either a symbol or a code, not both.
  • Comma separators for four or more digits, as under rule 1.10.1.
  • "million" is written in full after the numeral with one space.
