Reported decisions of the European Commission of Human Rights are cited by parties' names, year of the decision, volume, report series, starting page and a page pinpoint. A volume and starting page are always given.

Formatting

  • Parties' names follow rule 14.3.2: italic, with an italic v.
  • The year of the decision is in round brackets.
  • The volume is an Arabic number, followed by Eur Comm HR in roman and the starting page.
  • A comma separates the starting page from the pinpoint.
  • Pinpoints are to pages under rules 1.1.6 to 1.1.7; a page range uses an en dash and may shorten the second number.
